These four students participated in the CT Rhyme Celebration this year. The celebration was hosted by Region #10 at Lewis Mills High School and celebrated the importance of learning languages. This year's theme was animals. These four students each read one portion of a poem called Five Little Bears in their native language (Polish, Spanish and Lithuanian). They used microphones to introduce themselves and their native languages and to project their voices to over 500 audience members. They did a great job and I was so proud of them!

“Five Little
Bears”
Jeden mały misie
Nie wiedziat co robic
ma
Nagle przyszedt drugi
I juz były dwa!
Dos osos pequeños
subiendose en un
árbol
luego vino otro
eutonces ya eran
tres.
Try mały misie
jedza jabłka ogryzek
Wraz przybywał inny
wtedy były ich cztery
Kerturi maži medaus
meškiukai
Surado meolu avely.
Atejo dar vienušas
meškiukas
Ir čia jau buvo
penki!
