Reader's Theater gives children a chance to practice their reading skills while treating their classmates to a performance. They learn to read loudly, clearly and with expression to make their reading more interesting. Unlike putting on an actual play, they don't feel the pressure of memorizing lines as they get to hold their scripts and read from them. Second graders were treated to performances of Fox in Luck while first graders were able to enjoy Frog and Toad.
