I have a Bachelor's degree from The University of Vermont, a Master's degree from CCSU, and a 6th Year Degree in Reading and Language Arts from CCSU. My certifications include: Elementary Education K-8, Remedial Reading K-12, Language Arts Consultant K-12, Health K-12, Home Economics K-12. I live in Canton with my husband and two daughters, and love to volunteer around the world. See the link a few headings below if you are interested in volunteering.

Ms. Solek and I are in charge of the Student Council this year. We have 22 amazing 4th graders who are learning how to be positive leaders of our school and community. Our first project was to raise money for Foodshare for Thanksgiving. We decided to combine a spirit day with fundraising by asking for a dollar donation in exchange for wearing pajamas on November 26th. The Student Council made posters, talked to every classroom in the building, and made announcements over the loudspeaker. We raised $618.39! Great job everyone!
Interested in VOLUNTEERING somewhere in the world? Summer 2007, I volunteered in Bagamoyo, Tanzania for a month with my daughter. Click below for music by our friends and their group named The Bagamoyo Spirits.
