Overview
5th grade students will be actively engaged in problem solving,
reasoning, and communicating mathematically.Featured units of study include number sense,
operations, estimation and approximation, measurement,
spatial relationships and geometry, probability and statistics,
and patterns.
Math Reminders
“Problems of the week” are available for student pick-up each week. Students may give these problems to the math coordinator or Mrs. G in report form for feedback. If the report is particularly good, it could possibly make it onto the “wall of fame!”
Enrichment packets are also available in the classroom for extra work at home.
