    CT COLT Rhyme Celebration


    Region 10 had the honor of being host school to the CT COLT Rhyme Celebration on March 18, 2009. The theme was Long Live the Animal Kingdom! Students from around the state gathered in our auditorium to share rhymes, songs and poems about our animal kingdom in the following languages: Euskera, French, Spanish, Romanian, Japanese, Bosnian, Mandarine Chinese, Czech, Farsi, German, Lithuanian, Turkish, Urdu, Polish, and Arabic. THANK YOU to the Region 10 administration team and all parents and teachers involved for helping make this event a wonderful reality!

    Below are a photo and video from the2008 Rhyme Celebration held at the Marlboro Elementary School in March 2008. Our kids sang the comical song 'dolor de cabeza' for the theme everyone laughs in the same language.


    Below are photos taken at the 2007 Rhyme Celebration in Mansfield. Our kids sang "mi familia grande" in response to the theme the earth is a home for everyone.
