Welcome to my Wiki.
My name is Jason Schilling. I am the Certified Apple Technician for Regional School District # 10. I service all of the Apple computers throughout all four schools in the District.
In a typical day, I will do anything from software installation and configuration, to replacing the logic board in an iBook G4. Most of my work entails intense hardware repair and part replacement, and I am very busy keeping up with the maintenance on the hundreds of Macs our students use every day.
That said, I love the work I do. It is a different challenge every day, and I look forward to coming to work every morning. I solve problems. I keep the cost of the increasing amount of technology in our school system down, by repairing what was once replaced. All electronic devices break down at some point, it is an inevitability, but I spend my day ensuring that the lives of those devices are as long as possible, to get the greatest value out of the resources that we have available.
