This city in one point perspective will help you be successful with your Romare Bearden cityscape collage. 

This is a city drawn in one point perspective. 

First start the way you began your boxes with a horizon line and a vanishing point. 

Next draw the letter X on the horizon line with the vanishing point in the center. It will look like a bow tie. 

Drop vertical lines along the bow tie going from top to bottom. 

At every other block draw a horizontal line that parallels the horizon line from one corner of the preceding shape and ending at the vertical line next to it. Draw one at the top and one at the bottom. 

Use a ruler for this exercise and draw lightly. 

When you are through with your buildings add sidewalks, roads, doors and window. Use your horizon line as an anchor and remember that things closest to the front will be the largest.
