Varying pressure varying line:
This homework assignment prepares you for your first class assignment A Hair Raising Adventure.
Using a pencil first draw a large free form shape that fills the whole page. Next fill in the page with a variety of lines. Make some very dark and heavy and some so light that you can barely see them. Vary direction and thickness. Draw your lines from one point to an opposing point. Do not draw the lines back and forth, that is scribbling. Draw all of your lines in one direction using good pencil control.
