    Coordinator Goal 2009-2012

    Departments will use data collected from student work to inform instruction.

    • Using a common unit plan, each department will update their curriculum that includes learning objectives/big ideas, essential questions, learning activities, teaching strategies, differentiation, level of Bloom’s taxonomy, assessments
    • Each department will create common unit plans at grade or course levels
    • Departments will use data collected from student work to analyze and revise unit plans

    What we do:

    1. Budget:inventory, building spending proposals, ordering
    2. Communication:liaison between parents, faculty, students, administration, program initiatives
    3. Curriculum:state/national standards, common plans, common assessments
    4. Facilitate meetings:department, Professional Learning Communities, etc.
    5. Mentor:Beginning teachers, CT TEAM
    6. Professional Development:plan, create and implement teacher learning
    7. Professional Memberships:presenters at state/national conferences,
    8. Teach:up to 3 courses or its equivalent in any of the buildings
    9. Whatever is deemed appropriate by Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent
