Welcome to the excitement of Third Grade. I am thrilled to be working with you and your child this year. I hope the following information will be helpful as we begin this new school year.
I would like to start by telling you a little bit about myself. While this is my ninth year of teaching, it is my second year at HCS. I am very honored to be a part of this wonderful community and quality school system. This will be my third year teaching third grade and I am thrilled to be back in third!
I believe in a safe, structured environment where students can excel socially, emotionally, and of course academically. I value each child’s individuality and look forward to the tremendous growth made by all in third grade. I come from the mindset of academic excellence. I expect that each child in my class try his or her best. My goal is for each child in my class to LOVE to learn and to be proud of his or her accomplishments in third grade.
