Field Layout, Dimensions and Positions

This is the basic layout and dimensions. The field is 110 yds by 60 yds. There are three areas on a lacrosse field. The offense side with a goal, defense side and the wing area. The postions that are played on the field are goalie, midfielder, attack and defense.

Attack: They stay on the attack side of the field and try to score goals
Defense: They stay on the defense side of the field and defend there goal, they can sometimes cross over the midfield
Midfielder: The play both offense and defense, a midfielder can run on both sides of the field
Goalie: Stays in the goal and stops the other team from scoring
