Harwinton Consolidated School PTO



The HCS PTO could really use your ideas, help and expertise. We have decided to make some major changes to our fundraising efforts for the 2015-2016 school year. In order to raise the money we need, we have decided to do a Fall Carnival October 24, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m in lieu of our traditional fall catalog fundraiser.

Our planning committee is forming now so that we can get started organizing this FUN event! We would love for anyone interested in helping out with the planning of our carnival, to join us Wednesday, April 15 from 6:30-8 in the library. Please consider joining our committee to help make this historic HCS event a memorable and fun experience!

Additionally, We are looking for people who are interested in working on the playground committee. The construction is scheduled for the summer of 2016.
The following are some of the areas that we need help:
Grant writing
Soliciting local businesses for donations.
Selling donation bricks for a walkway.
Fundraising ideas and implementation.
Setting up online donation site.
Assisting in coordinating a community build day.
We will be planning a committee meeting in early May. Attendance is not required. There are many jobs large and small that we need assistance with. Please feel free to email with any questions, ideas and concerns to harwintonpto@outlook.com.
